Little Red Rooster
  • THE LITTLE RED ROOSTER has had a successful 2007 breeding season. We showed Rooster very successfully in November and December during his breeding season. He will be standing to a limited number of mares at Chance Lodge in 2008. His service fee is $2,500 plus gst and we will be shipping chilled semen throughout Australia. After successfully showing in the U.S.A. and winning the Novice Cutting at Graham Texas, Chance Lodge is proud to stand The Little Red Rooster this season.

  • Royal Blue Boonsmal does it again!  Roysaboonsmal who is out of our great mare RBB wins the DDCC Open Cutting Futuriry in 2008. He is sired by Playboy Roy.  A great success on the selling of this great mares Egg.

  • PROOFS INA PEPTO has arrived in Australia and is now at Chance Lodge.  She is a beautiful sorrel yearling filly by PEPTOBOONSMAL out of MISS HICKORY MERADA who is by Freckles Merada out of a Royal King mare.  Chance Lodge and Denise MacCallum-Campey look forward to training this filly for the 2009 NCHA Futurity.  She will added to the great band of brood mares Chance Lodge.

  • GIOVANNIS SIMPATICO WINS 2007 NCHA OPEN FUTURITY.  Chance Lodge is pleased to announce that our little 3 year old won the 2007 NCHA Futurity in June winning the second go round and the finals.  This gelding was bred and raised at Chance Lodge and is by our great imported Sire, FRECKLES FORTISSIMO and is out of our great young mare ROYAL BLUE BOONSMAL.   Both Freckles Fortissimo and Royal Blue Boonsmal are out of our American mare BLUE BOONS MY GRANNY. Giovanni also placed in the Open Futurity at Toowoomba and Goondiwindi.
  • John Farnham takes out the 2008 Champion Non Pro Derby at the Victorian Futurity on Giovannis Simpatico taking his winnings to date in excess of $56,000

  • PADDYS IRISH CREAM who was bred, raised, and trained at Chance Lodge finals in the 2007 NCHA OPEN FUTURITY placing 18th in the finals.  This beautiful mare is by Paddy's Irish Cream and out of one of our great Brood Mares SPINS GAY MONKEY. LOOK OUT FOR HER STUNNING COLT FOR SALE.

  • Beaver Doc dies peacefully in his paddock of heart failure. Sadly missed, however Chance Lodge is proud to have had him and his legacy lives on through his progeny and mares. Chance Lodge has breedings available for sale by Beaver Doc in the form of Frozen Semen.

  • THE EQUALIZER retires at 17 years of age, completing one of the most outstanding equine careers in the AQHA. The Equalizer after winning several AQHA Champion awards retires to pasture at Chance Lodge. He gets exercised and enjoys his rides at home.

  • FRECKLES FORTISSIMO sadly has re-torn his suspensary ligament whilst showing and is now Retired to Stud.

  • A big thank you to Gillian Rolton for an outstanding job in the training and showing of Chances Tristram, champion Cross Country horse, sired by Chance Lodge’s Beaver Doc now deceased. We wish the new owners of Chances Tristram (Bo) the very best of luck in the future with him.

Smooth as a Cat is the highest money earning son of High Brow Cow winning in excess of over $5000,000.00 US. We also imported her out with a Peptoboonsmal filly who has been broken in and will soon start her cutting training with Denise.
